WHAT: Field Day at Cleveland WHEN: Monday, June 3rd Morning session is 8:50 to 11:15 AM Afternoon session is 12:45 to 3:15 WHO: ANY volunteer willing to pitch a kickball, play with a parachute and then set up the station in time for the next group to have FUN! ISASP

This week 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be taking the ISASP assessments. Please make sure your child gets 8 hours of sleep and eats a good breakfast or is at school in time to eat breakfast here. It is important that students do their personal best all week and good sleep and breakfast will help to ensure that.

Spring Break

Enjoy your week with your children. We will return to class on Monday, March 25.

Math and Literacy Night

Come join us on Thursday, March 7 to learn about some math and reading activities you can do with your children. Pizza will be served in the cafeteria from 5:15 - 6:00 and activities will be in the gym as well as classrooms from 6 - 7 pm.

Winter Conferences

Student-Led Family Conferences Thursday, Feb. 14 and Tuesday Feb. 19. Other dates may also be scheduled for families as needed. Your child should have brought home a pink conference note from their teacher. If you do not have one, please contact your child's teacher. We are looking forward to seeing you these next couple of weeks.

CLEVELAND CARNIVAL

Please come and join us on Thursday, May 10 from 5:30 - 7:30 on the main playground. There will be inflatables and games, a silent auction, food for sale, and lots of fun for everyone!

3rd - 5th grade students finished Iowa Assessments this week. Students showed their personal best on the tests. We are proud of your efforts!

4th/5th Grade Music Program

Thursday, March 8, our 4th and 5th graders will be showcasing their music program in the gym. Please come and support them!

Winter Weather

Please send your child with a warm coat, hat, and mittens or gloves. We go outside for recess each day unless it is raining or below zero in temperature.

2nd/3rd Grade Music Program

2nd and 3rd graders proudly present their music program on Tuesday, November 7 at 2:45 and again at 6:00 p.m. in the Cleveland gym.

End of the week fun!

Friday, October 27 is HAT DAY. Students earned 10,000 PRIDE tickets. Wear your favorite hat for the day. Also, the Fall Fun Festival is from 5:15 -7:30 p.m. in the gym with a costume parade, games, and "trunk or treat" giveaways.

Last week of school...

We want to thank you for sharing your children with us this year. Wednesday students will enjoy some fun field day activities, Thursday, 5th graders will be going to Camp Tanager for cooperative group building activities and swimming, and Friday, June 2 will be our last day. We will be dismissing at 2:15.
